For about a minute after starting when the engine is cold, it idles very rough. Should I be concerned?

Anyone have this issue?

I also seem to have a strong exhaust smell in the cabin after start for about a minute.

Doesn't sound right. Mine idles smoothly when cold and doesn't seem to run very rich.

Check the coil packs for cracks, overnight moisture causes them to short out until they dry out a little.
If it is the coil pack it's a very common problem and easy (but not real cheap) to remedy. Last time I saw the pricing on coil pacs they were ~$45 ea, you only need to replace the cracked ones but that just means you my be going back in to do some of the other ones later.

It's been a while but the last rev. level I saw was .09, IIRC the ones in my '06 S were .03 when I got it.
