Default 06 cayenneS

Bought an 06 CayenneS yesterday. Drove on some back roads today and was impressed with the performance.

Giddy up! Have one too, bought it exactly a year ago. 16,000 fun and trouble free miles.

You'll love it. Just repair the common failures BEFORE they happen if you can. i usually get bored with cars after a year or so. I have had my 06S for four years now and it still impresses me and makes me say 'wow' EVERY SINGLE DAY. Just don't ever drive a turbo!

Very nice. I also have to say that I get a kick out of my 09 GTS every time I drive it. There are a lot of neat things these cars have and can do that ordinary cars don't.

Agree....stay away from the Turbo. Once you drive one - you'll take out a second on the house....

My Cayenne S averages around 14 - 15 mpg for mixed driving. In city only driving, it is generally in the 11 or 12 mpg range. On the highway, it's in the 20 - 21 mpg range.

It has 89k miles. The check engine light came on, so I took back to the dealer today. Seems to be a plugged vent line from gas tank. I should get it back tomorrow, hopefully everything will be fine when I get it back.
