Default My Cayenne GTS Porsche Design Edition

RL,

I haven't posted here in a while but have been lurking a lot as always. Thought id take a few minutes to share a few pics and info about my 2010 Porsche Design Edition 3 Cayenne GTS.

The vehicle is #0006 out of 1000 produced Worldwide. Rumored that approx. 100 came to North America with 2-3 to Mexico and Canada - leaving roughly 95-97ish in the USA. I hunted for this vehicle for a long time and finally found one at an Audi Dealership outside of NYC. Bought with 28,000 miles on the clock and in fantastic shape it felt brand new. I just added clear corner markers and fresh tires and that's it. Daily driving it now for 4 months and loving it.

Here are some photos....(color is Lava Gray by the way)

That is spectacular! I just bought my Turbo S and it only came with winter wheels. I'd love to score a set of the ones you have on your GTS! Also, if I was to make mine perfect, I'd want your carbon interior trim and blacked out window trim, etc. The whole package is just fantastic. Congrats on the purchase

Looks very nice. What makes it a special edition? I'm guessing the interior?

Really is a good find. The only thing that doesn't appeal to me is the alcantara in the seats but I understand a lot of people are really partial to it. Other than that, I love it.

Thanks guys! I am very happy with it so far and will hopefully enjoy many miles in this baby. For those that dont know what it is here is a little blip i found on wiki about it...

Cayenne GTS Porsche Design Edition 3 (2010)[edit]
It is a limited edition (1000 unit, 100 in USA[10]) model based on Cayenne GTS designed by Porsche Design Studio. It includes Lava Grey Metallic body, 21-inch SportPlus wheels, black leather upholstery with red contrasting seams, Porsche Design Chronograph (Type P’6612).

The sales began in May 2009 with MSRP of €79,100 before tax.[11]

So its basically a GTS in its final year before the new body style - with lots of options and some special design bits. Also the only GTS in that gen to be available in Lava Gray (you could also get a Turbo S in that color but not a "normal" GTS) and of course the graphics package on the exterior. To me, this is the best Porsche Design model yet. The Cayman in 08 was ok but nothing special and the DE1 Boxster never excited me much.

Thanks again

There's a couple of Porsche Design editions for sale local to me. They're coming out of the woodworks!

I always like the Design Editions for the little details that make it stand out.

Very nice car!

The wheels just look nice with a reference to classic Fuchs with the silver lip around.

Since you mentioned Lava, my '09 Turbo S, this pic shows the color well. I lowered mine via Durametric, you should consider the same.

^ your TTS looks great man. Love the PCCB. I am considering that lowering upgrade once the warranty runs out in a few months. Would you mind PMing me the details?
