fualty 4 wheel drive flashes...help

went on 2 month vacation, did not drive 2006 CS for 2 months, now cayenne has rough, loud idle, flashes four wheel drive system faulty.
what could be problem? battery low?

battery charged, running good. but i notice a loud ticking on start up, then quiet when warm. normal?
