Does the silver climate door on Cayenne always say the 'model' name?
I'm referring to the silver door that rolls down for additional climate options. The one between the climate controls. I've seen all of them say 'Porsche Turbo" or 'Porsche S'. Mine just reads 'PORSCHE'. Did the factory screw up or did the previous owner replace the door and maybe he only found one that said PORSCHE on it ?
These are some pics of some cars I looked at previous to buying mine. Just curious. Keep in my mind, the Cayennes in the above pics were pre-2008 Cayennes.
This is my 08 Turbo that just merely says PORSCHE. I guess it was Porsche's way of saying, WTF, we'll put what we feel like putting in, cause I don't believe it was an option. Again, it's not the 'end of the world' difference, just interesting to me how they picked and chose.
