What's the simplest way to confirm the coolant pipes have not been changed.

There is a sticky thread explains how to verify using the mirror.

 

Some say that you can look with a flashlight at the back of the manifold and look down and see. I do have updated pipes and have looked and it is tough to see unless you really know what your looking for. With a video inspection system you can feed it in under the manifold from the back and see. Maybe someone with an easier idea will pipe in.

 

i tried the video thing and it was really tough. (small half pen sized cam on a 15ft cable). it's tough, you might need a sturdy wire or similar to hold and guide the camera.

i'd try the mirror trick as described in the sticky

 

Thanks for the suggestions I have access to a boroscope I'll let everyone know how it worked.
Hope they don't burst in the meantime.
