Hi, All,
I'm trying to replace the air filter on my '09 Cayenne. I can't seem to remove the pins between the air intake and air filter box (see picture). I thought they just turned 180 degrees or so, but mine don't seem to want to budge and I don't want to force them.
Any trick to it?
Thanks!

Rotate it until the nub on the shaft is not stopping it and jimmy it up. It basically a plastic shaft with a small tab on it. You have to rotate it like a quarter turn or so to line up the tab so it's not catching.

Thanks, I got it. I made the mistake of thinking they would both rotate to the same position. The tab is actually offset from left to right. See picture below. You can see how the notch area for each screw is turned inward slightly.

Even if you break the bottom tabs it's not a big deal (DAMHIK), those pins are pretty snug in there.
I broke them on the '06, with the '10 I knew better, however that air fitting on the passenger side air filter cover really kicked my butt trying to figure out how it came off. Found the answer here on a post from JohnnyBahamas (a big thanks to that!)
