Information submittal
I sent my paperwork in before the deadline and never heard anything back -- did anyone get any indication of a receipt of the info?

Just Replace Pipes
My 08 Cayenne S Titanium just blew it pipes. I bought used last fall and mileage today is ~ 85K.
does anyone think I have any recourse with Porsche or the class action?
I believe the answer is 'tough luck - do your homework next time' but want to be sure.

Supreme Court appeal...*ugh*
Dear XXX,
Thank you for your email.
On April 18, 2014, a single objector filed a Notice of Appeal appealing the District Court's order granting final approval of the Settlement Agreement and overruling the objections.
On July 13, 2015, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed the appeal of the single objector. However, the single objector has appealed this dismissal to the United States Supreme Court. There is no fixed timeline as to if or when the Supreme Court will accept this fresh appeal. Until this new appeal is settled, no disbursements can be made.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Regards,
The Settlement Administrator (MWC)

Got a status EMAIL today from the settlement administrator referring to the Supreme Court appeal info.... bleh. I did some research and came across this new item from January 2015, same attorney/Cayenne owner is the sole appellant to the Supreme Court.

It's Closer To Over
I just checked the official US Supreme Court docket and saw the Court denied the Petition for Certiorari (request for review) on December 14, 2015.
I'm not sure what procedures need to be followed before there is a final judicial 'blessing' of the payout but I would imagine it can't be all that long now.

The end is in sight!
So I contacted the attorney listed above and here's his response:
Mr. XXX,
Assuming that she hasn’t filed something that isn’t showing up on the docket yet (very unlikely at this point), Porsche has 30 days to pay all of the proceeds from the settlement. The 30 days began running as of January 8th, so you should have your settlement proceeds in hand by February 8th. Although she made us take the long road, I’m happy to say we’re almost there.

Is the check in the mail?
If P decides to deny the claim are we notified?
The company processing the claim was insistent about submitting the necessary info. Nothing but crickets since then.

No check yet. Would be nice. Being of devious mind - the thought did cross my mind that a company could delay a payout of a Class-Action by having someone file appeals who is a "class member" under the ruling. But I'm sure that isn't the case here.

Emailed the attorney today. His response:
Checks just went out, so let me know if you don't hear anything in another week or so. You will at least get a notice of deficiency if there's something to correct, then you'll have thirty days to remedy.
