Default Winter Wheels and Tires - From 21 in. to 18 in.

It's that time of the year again - winter is around the corner so I stored the summer wheels and installed this package.

Summer: Porsche 21 in. Turbo II wheels.
Winter: Replika 140A 18 in. wheels with Bridgestone Blizzaks.

Pictures enclosed.

I've always been a fan of Blizzaks. I'll post a review once we get our first snow or ice storm - which could be anytime.

I am shopping around for Porsche logo center wheel caps....

It would be nice if you downsized the pics to 800 pixels wide

I have a spare set, what size do you need for the winter wheels? Maybe mine will fit. PM me.

Those are great snow tires!

Keep your speed under 168 MPH, though.

I installed Bridgestone Blizzak DMV1's. Also included Beru TPMS valve/transmitters.

So far so good!

I recently ordered the 18-inch black sport rims and Blizzak DMV1 from TireRack. Fast service as I ordered them online on a Thursday and they were delivered the following Tuesday. They shipped from Nevada to Montana. TireRack installed the pressure sensors and once I pulled the 19-inch All Weathers off (and marked them for location) the CD knew the tires were changed and it went through a sequence to change the wheel size, tire type (winter) and than went into a learning mode to communicate with the tire sensors. The sensor sync took maybe 5 minutes. In my opinion, the 19-inch Pirelli All-Weathers that came with the car may be fine for a trickle rain or light dusting of snow, but, not a Montana winter. Anyway, thanks to others that have referred TireRack, they are a solid vendor.
