Default Interior mods to my Cayenne

Here are some mods I made to my Cayenne. GPS and cell phone mounts by Proclip, Seat back MOLLE panel by Blueridge Overland Gear and cargo cage by Porsche.

Well it looks very utilitarian now. Are you concerned the leather isn't durable enough on its own?

Those are some crazy seat covers I must say. Reminds me of my grandparents old Acadian.

The sheepskins were made specficially for the Cayenne. Much cooler in the summer and warmer in winter.

Very rugged. That box in the back looks like it could go through anything, do you have it secured to the cargo cage then? Sort of hard to tell from the picture.

The box is an Alu-Box. I used Buffalo straps to secure the handles of the box to the cage. I had to secure the strap to the bottom of the cage as the cargo tie downs are used to secure the cage.

Do you remove the sheepskins and check for wear on the leather occasionally? I once had them in a 300D and they wore a rub spot into the Mercedes leather.

No but then again I've only had the car for 3500 miles. The sheepskin company sugges swaping the seat covers from side to side to prevent exsessive wear on the D/S cover.

Do you use that box to transport body organs?

The box is obviously not insulated.
