My bro in law had his M3 stolen. Cops call him about 6 months later "Hey, we found your car!" Well he already got his new car with the insurance settlement. So he drives to the police impound lot worrying that he might have to take back a beater.

The cops show him his 'car'. It's just a piece of rear quarter panel sheet metal. That's it. His business card slid down and found a seam. It was a good thing he brought along a gallon of gas so he could drive it home.

Newark, NJ is a bad town. However I've never had any problems at the airport. First car theft we've ever had as a family. And my parents have been in the US since the 80s.
Even though I'm not that concerned about the car, I still miss it a lot
But that SOB needs to get hurt bad. Especially after what he did to my sister...
