2008,9 CTT with a GIAC Ecu program and you will leave a CTTS in the dust. Get PDCC and you will leave them in the dust in the corners as well.

LOL at posting cars for sale in Dubai for comparison, seriously?! But $49k for an 06 is INSANE even if it was stored in Michael Jacksons hyperbaric chamber with 7 miles

The main point was to show price differentials, unless there is a big difference in the condition a 06 CTT should be much cheaper than a 08 CTT.

The thing I can't work out about the market here is why people import cars from the US.

Thanks all for the input. I have decided to buy the 2006 CTTS from the dealership for $41K with a 2year Porsche CPO warranty. It's the white/beige color combo that my wife and I really love. This will compliment my white 996tt very nicely. Picking her up tomorrow.

I drive one every day. I know how much machine you are getting. That is THE bargain of the DECADE.

Congratulations.

38 / 43 psi front / rear. PSM off. Oil warm. Point her in a safe direction and nail it.

You'll smile every time.

Yes - dealership dropped the price from $49K to $41K so I agreed and will pick her up today. They are re-certifying the car so it will be 2 year or 50K miles CPO warranty from date of my purchase. It has just 25K miles on the odometer. Wife and I totally fell in love with the white/beige color combo. I'm totally excited.

Thanks. I'm super excited to be picking her up today. I will definitely try out your tip once I familiarize myself with her.

Was it a Porsche dealer?...I'm trying to negotiate a CPO'd 2006 CTTS myself and your example would be a great example to bring up to that dealer.

You made the right choice and you will love it. I've been driving mine since March and haven't regreted for a second not getting the '08 CTT I was also looking at. Just not different enough and not as fast for the $25K premium in purchase price over the '06 CTTS.
