Default Purschasing a '09 GTS 6spd under warranty: PPI still and what to look for?

I just placed a deposit on a red 6-speed manual GTS a city away. Very excited as I've always wanted one and it still has a warranty left but that wont last long, so a few questions for you guys:

1. Clean carfax, 1 owner. Still under warranty: I plan to have a Porsche dealership PPI done: anything to ask them to specifically check? Last P-car dealership PPI I had done they missed a LOT: fading paint, soaked undercarriage, low-boost, etc.

2. Warranty: I plan to take it by my dealership while under warranty to have codes run, recalls checked, and ______________ (fill in the blanks please

3. Extended warranty: recommended or simple enough with the manual transmission to forgo that?

Did I miss anything? Thanks guys!! (I just updated my signature

you should pay to have a Porsche dealer CPO it for 2yr / 100k miles ... worth the extra $'s.

Things that were issues with mine that were repaired under warranty (from memory):
  1. e-brake spring - would not release, and light stayed on
  2. water-pump - never failed but was part of a service campaign
  3. transfer case switch - would not shift from low-range to high-range after taking the truck off-road_PITA
  4. Radio/Nav/etc died - replaced, dealer tried to reprogram w/o success. It failing every now and then is routine, and it typically comes back after cycling on/off a few times, but
this time it did not.

Did not happen to my truck, but my dealer had replaced the clutch on a few manual GTS's at <10K miles, so I would have that checked. This may be the result of folks riding the clutch, as first gear is so short I assume most people never actually take their foot off the pedal before shifting to Second. Or they just start in Second all the time and slip the clutch a bit. I would also have them check for over-revs, as one can hit the rev limiter relatively easily merging into traffic from a cross street (i.e., you will hit the rev limiter before the truck is going straight. The gear box is also notchy (truckish?), so I perceive the chance at a miss shift (e.g., 4th to 2nd).

Great truck - wish I had mine back.

Congrats and enjoy!

Only very minor issues here:
- '08 GTS #1 had the slave cylinder fail around 28K, and needed the rear hatch lock replaced
- '09 GTS #2 is at 40K and no warranty issues

And GTS Red is the best color by far!

It should have had the high pressure fuel pump changed onder a service campaign. Mine was done twice.
