Thanks for the tips. I considered the "centric rings" but then thought it may be a long shot since the machining was specific to the mercedes fitment?

I almost bought a G Wagon a couple of months ago and I was looking for wheels given that the G has a 84.1 mm hub. The Cayenne has a hub of 71.5 mm. If all that is machined on your wheels is the inside of the wheel and not the off-set, there shouldn't be a problem. It would only cost you $100 + tax and shipping to find out. Just saying....

Not too good....I was afraid to sink any more money into these wheels so I returned them to the dealer for a $1k rebate. The Michelin tires had about 50% left on 2 of the tires, less on the other two. Anyway, the newly refurbished wheels and and new tires made a 300% improvement!
