Default To resonate or not

Looking to buy a set of Leistung secondary cat bypasses and having a hard time deciding between resonated or not. Hard to tell a huge difference from online videos. Generally the quality is lacking. I doubt I'll find someone with one of each in different cars but I wanted to we if anyone had feedback or could comment on their set up. It seems people have posted they're happy with the non resonated but I can't find any threads talking of the resonated bypasses.

Thanks.

How does a cat bypass resonate or not? I don't remember having an option on it?

Supposedly it can get a bit metallic sounding on open throttle without resonator. The resonator dampens that sound. I'm not sure if it increases restriction though. I wouldn't care so much about less noise but I wouldn't want to markedly increase restriction. I have debated this very topic in my mind when browsing leistung's site and watching/listening videos.

Perhaps its best just to just ask people who have done the bypass from any of the manufactures.. fabspeed, ecs tuning, etc.. how they like it. Does it sound good or bad.. is it ever too loud for the wife?

I have a 3.2L V6 2006 And have a fabspeed cat bypass pipe in it...the sound def increased from silent to noticeable...but there was no option of resonating or non resonating on it....it was just one pipe.

My Fabspeed pipes make a metalic sound when the vehicle is started cold, it goes away when I shift into gear. Otherwise, I like the sound.
