Higher than normal clutch wear possible when starting off, but that's about it.
For a motorcycle trailer, I wouldn't be concerned.

I thought the same thing regarding wear. Keep in mind I'm looking at a carrier, not a trailer. So I have to worry more about tongue weight than towing weight.

and I think I could actually go up to a double. Of course a trailer would be no issue, but then I have to worry about storing the trailer.
