Time for rear brakes. Easy DIY?

Time for rear brakes. Easy DIY?
So I've never done a brake job before. I have a 3 ton jack that I bought from Costco and have literally used it once and also a couple of jack stands that I've never used. To make a long story short, I swapped out one of the wheels on my M3, saw that I still had way more tread on the one I swapped out so I swapped it back in.
Anyways, my indy quoted me 1.3 hrs of labour @ $90/hr. If I go with Zimmerman rotors and Pagid pads, it would run me about $450. I was told these are a 330mm rotor. They initially quoted me $800-850 but that was using OEM parts I believe. They tried to look into a Stoptech option but told me it was not offered.
I looked on Tirerack and they have numerous offerings.
I have to mention that I have very basic tools so the chances of buying items specific to brake jobs is significant.

Just completed the rear brake replacement on my 06S. Not a difficult job as long as you have the correct tools. The hardest part was getting the proper torque on the caliper retaining bolts.

Not sure if you need rotors and pads or just pads. I see you have listed both, but if you haven't checked the rotors for wear, you may only need pads.
If it's just pads, it's a very easy, straight forward R&R of the pads and sensors. If you're careful, you can save the sensors by using a small screwdriver and pry the from the pads before you remove the pads. If they crumble as you pull them from the pads, then you'll have to replace them. No biggee.

Will a 330mm rotor work for the rears? The shop I normally go to said I need to use 355mm rotors? They are for Zimmerman rotors and Textar pads. I have red calipers btw if that matters.

For 955, all models (base, S, and Turbo) use 330mm rears. The only exception is the Turbo S, which uses 358mm rears.
So yeah, what year & model? Red could mean Turbo, Turbo S, GTS, or someone painted them.
Edit: Okay, for 2006 Turbo, you need 330mm rotors.
