Default WTB 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

First time posting here but as of last week I have been looking all over for an 06 Cayenne Turbo S. What kind of problems/issues have any of you experienced? For a car that I will drive everyday how is the gas mileage?

Is there anyone in the forum that is wanting to sell theirs because there are only a handful nationwide that im currently looking at.

Thanks!!

Problems that I have experienced?

1) Premature lines on face from constant smile.

2) 6000 pounds of "that's not possible".

3) Tires cry at night.

Gas milage?

Yes.

For sale?

No.

My '06 CTTS has 167,000 miles on it. I get 14-15 mpg in daily driving and up to 18 on the highway. As a daily driver, I absoutely love it. I have had all the normal "issues" (coils, coolant pipes, cardan shaft), in fact, it is at the shop to have the driveshaft issue fixed right now. Front rotors are stratospherically expensive, but they last almost forever, so it isn't a huge deal. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat. I put a lot of miles on this thing and yes, it costs some $$ to maintain, but with all things considered, it is reasonable. BTW, i know there is a Carmona Red (burgundy) one for sale in Nashville for just under $30K (i just stumbled on it on Cars.com or Autotrader or something).

Everything those guys said. I have only replaced my coolant pipes, recently rebuilt the air compressor, and general Mx which I do myself to include changing all of the fluids (diffs, tranny, transfer case) at 50K, now have 67K. I have done the rear LED tail lamps, Secondary Cat bypass, software flash (Eurocharged), and IPD Y-pipe (only because I got it on clearance cheap). Love the Pig, have Porsche's and Audi's but this is fun to drive. Keep your foot out of it and it gets decent mileage for 5500#. I average around 16mpg, got 18mpg average in an easy drive all the way cross country. By easy I mean sticking close to 70~75mph.

Superb truck allround, gas is pita, but hey you only live once! If you drive it how its supposed to be driven then service time becomes acceptable, better than a truck and a separate purpose built sports car, this way you get practicality and performance in one. Ctts is rare and spotting another one becomes more of a hobby!

I went through car fever last year about put my '06 TTS up for sale at the highest possible price, got a few bites, fever finally passed and I took it off the market. Best car decision I ever made. I only owe $23k on it and just 67k miles. Nothing constructive to add to the thread other than gotta get yourself one. I'm on my 3rd Cayenne and LOVE THEM. It's only car crazies that makes me want to sell occasionally. Damned good thing I don't have room for any more cars.

Purchased mine last Dec. with 60 miles, did a tune up and replaced tires. D/D summer City 14.2 Hwy 20.5 mpg. Lots of power great thru the mountains and passing up hill in the short passing lanes.

Highly recommend!

Hope you find one that's in good shape.

I just bought an 05 Cayenne Turbo (not and S) from an original owner with 88,000 on it for 20K, I think I got a deal, it is immaculate.

Ok I picked up one with just under 100K for $28K. It was a CPO car that just came off CPO and had everything done right before warranty ended. It also has a panoramic sunroof which was the main option that I wanted on the car. They seem to be hard to find with a Pano Roof.
