TPMS Question

Can anyone tell me in what years the TPMS sensors changed? Or what years fit what? The sensors from my 2006 Cayenne do not work in my 2011 Cayenne. Gets a bit confusing when looking for a replacement set. Also, hoping there is somewhere to find OEM TPMS. Dealer price is approx. $120 each.

I bought these for my winter set for a 2013. They should work in a 2011.
They worked perfectly, and vendor was professional even calling me up that he had not tested on a 2013, to let me know before shipping.

At ~$40 each, they even come with the metal valve stems which are additional at the dealer to the $120 OE price!
Although the ECS deal for $66 looks good since they are German made BERU, which are the suppliers for the Porsche part (instead of Chinese made for $40)
So you have choices! $40, $66, $120 ... take your pick

I too wondered this since i got occasional error messages and one was replaced when i bought it. Its now 8 years old, late 2004 CTT, so they may all need it soon.
I don't see the ECS ones @ $66 each though, can you post a link?
The aftermarket ones look great value but I've sent emails to 2 US sellers (I'm in the UK) and neither replied so no confidence in that route incase of problems.

Sorry I misunderstood, I thought that was the link for the 957 ones.
You should be able to search part number for whatever year on the site.

Just put in your exact model and search, here did it for you for a 2004 Turbo:
(Different part comes up 95536166101, much more expensive)

If you search on ebay, you will find the cheaper ones for your model year.

If you're in the UK, your Cayenne might use the 315 mHz sensors, part number 95536166111.
If it uses the 433 mHz sensors, then the link Steve posted is correct.

I just checked one of my OEM sensors from my '06 and it is 433MHz. So if the sensors for the '11 are 433MHz why dont they work. Did something else change? Now I'm more confused.

433MHZ is just the radio frequency, most cars use that frequency yet they are not necessarily interchangeable. They probably changed something in the protocol between the sensor and car.
For example the cheap ITM sensors (just type "TPMS Cayenne" on ebay for a million listings), are generic 433MHZ sensors, that are programmed by the vendor for your specific vehicle/year just before shipping.
