Default How Do I Remove Silver Trims 955 CTT?

Hi all

I'm considering swapping out the silver vertical exterior window trims (2 each side) for black ones, can somebody tell me how these are removed from the car and if removal is likely to break them?

The lower door trims also have a silver strip which I may opt to change (missus hates the silver) so if anyone has info on these also that would be great?

Thanks

Carl

I can't help you with the removal. Just wanted to make sure you were aware that many people will opt for a vinyl black wrap on the trim instead of replacing. Gives you the option of returning to the silver and it looks the same as if you replaced them.

Thinking of doing that actually, the wrap is very cheap like you say, am just wondering if clips etc may break when removing the trims?

Anyone have a good place to buy the black wrap, otherwise if I wanted to go oem do they sell the black trim as an aftermarket item. I couldn't find it on suncoast or ebay.

I got mine (3M) off of Amazon. Easy to apply, and great results IMO. Took me about 45 min start to finish.
