Default 958 Interior Door Panel Removal

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone had instructions on how to remove the interior door panel on a 2012 Cayenne? Was driving a friend home the other day since he was drunk...long story short ..he had to puke, no time to stop so we opened the window..95% went out side, another 5% stayed inside...along the b pillar and some inside the window edge..I need to get the door panel off to clean it. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

Well it was either leave your buddy driving drunk or drive him home...I'd take not risking his life over puking in(rather in between) the car any day..

You did exactly the right thing, obviously with the possiblility of major downside, and should be commended for it. Just saying that a post asking for info about removing puke from behind a door panel in a brand new Cayenne may have broken new ground for this forum!

Try cleaning out puke from deep down in the air vents, smells good everytime it re-heats in the winter.

+1. had to sell a W211 some time ago as a friend of mine did about the same thing as the OP posted, but he kinda did not manage to open the window and hit the vents (and me).
I might dig out a couple of pics somewhere... or maybe not.

Just did my tint last night. That door panel is a pain in the ***!

Assuming you're talking about the front door panel. There's a screw behind a cover at the base of the door handle. A screw behind the inside door handle behind the cover next to the door unlock/lock buttons. More screws under the arm rest. Remove the arm rest by using a plastic trim pry tool pulling in an upward motion. And four or five screws behind the horizontal trim piece on the upper part of the interior door panel. Trim piece can be pried off with a plastic trim pry tool. After getting all screws off, you can pry the interior door panel off. Clips are holding it tight so don't be scared to pull hard.
