Default Our CTT acquisition in its proper environment

Picked up our 2006 CTT in Phoenix Thursday and savored the 120 mile drive back to Red Rock Country. A phenomenal car...and it got 19 mpg!. Had a really good buying experience at Porsche North Scottsdale. I only wish it had better protection underneath from the nasty rocks embedded like teeth in many USFS "roads" around here.

Running 255/55x18 Pirelli P-Zero Rossos....not AT tires by any means but they're new so I'm not making any changes for a while.

Keeping it clean will be a hassle, but it would be for any color except the burgundy, and they're too scarce to hold for one.

PNS is pretty good, but they don't give p-cars as loaners (at least to me).

I'm pretty sure they make some undercarriage armor.

Is it Lapis Blue? Oh, and white hides dirt better than almost any color.

It's black. White doesn't hide our orange dirt; our other car is white!

That's a great looking Cayenne !! Glad the buying experience was awesome too boot. Porsche does offer some extra coverings that were offered in the Advanced Off-Road Technical Package. 95510798101 is the steel under-engine tray (in black), and 95504480016 is the stainless steel front end cover, which goes between the under-engine tray and the front bumper. Congrats! FWIW those 18's are an excellent choice for any off-pavement driving.

I'm going to look into the underbody shield, but sheet metal wouldn't give much protection against rocks. My Hummer had a heavy steel tube grid protecting the engine and trans; I might look into having something fabricated. Sliders too...the pricey OEM aluminum sliders (rocker protection) are either for show or sacrificial or both.
