collapsable spare
Dont' know if this has been mentioned previously, but here goes. How in the hell does this spare tire work? Is there supposed to be an onboard compressor? I havent' had a chance to dig around too much, but just thought i'd ask folks who may have.

There is a compressor packed in with the spare that you plug into a power point.
I've read that 955/957s with air suspension allowed you to inflate tires from the airbag compressor, but don't know if that is true in the 958s or if that negates the inclusion of the spare's compressor.
We have a 996 C4 with the same type of spare and I find it very Porsche-like that you have to "build" your spare yourself
