Exclamation 08 Cayenne start problems!

Hi..this is my first thread on this forum.I have a 08 Cayenne, lately I have noticed it needs to turn a few times in order to start up. Has anyone else noticed this cranking issue when performing a cold or hot start? Anything to be concerned about?...Sorry about my bad english!!!..thanks

Is it worse immediately following a fuel-up?

If so, then it is likely the tank vent or purge valve. Both are covered in this forum. A quick search will find it.

And it might be worth checking the fuel rail pressure - especially the retained pressure (after the engine is shut down.) Had similar problem when I got mine.. a complete set of fuel pumps, pressure regulator and filter assembly later it starts flawlessly (thank Dog for CPO..)

Mine still does this intermittently....and after the new coils and plugs heaven.......I've developed a crappier idle than before, lately. Not looking forward to a starter or fuel pumps.

If I remember correctly the manual recommended to replace the drive belt when you change your plugs otherwise the car might develop this start up problem.
