Default 958 roof crossbars

Anyone have a set?

I just got mine from Suncoast, but when I tried to install them the rear doesn't seem to fit correctly. The front went on fine, but the rear is too long. If I slide it forward to about the middle of the rear door it will snap onto the rails, but it will only slide back about 8-10".

Is this right? Does it not go all the way back like the sticker shows? Something wrong with my cross bar or rails?

I'm pretty sure the rear should be shorter than the front. Is it possible you have them backwards, or maybe received two front bars?

Definitely two different lengths. Maybe the stickers got put on the wrong bar?

On the bottom of my "front" bar there are some (for lack of a better description) wind deflectors that are not on the "rear" bar. If that makes any sense, does that help identify them at all?

Looks like I was mistaken about the bar lengths as I made an assumption based on the issue and had not put them side by side. The front bar is indeed longer than the rear.

I have some pics, but as my company's proxy doesn't like RL I'll have to wait until tonight to post them.

The guys at Suncoast are great. I've been talking to them as well and even though they can't find any actual instructions either they found some picks that show the rear bar indeed sits farther forward than I expected.

So my issue is just a "stupid user" trick. Would be nice if Porsche included the expected distance between the bars, but oh well.

Pics I've seen show it just at the back of the rear door. If you're able to get it back that far, I'd say it's correct.
