My Intro, our new (used) GTS, and our snow tire set-up (all in one)
Greetings.
I am John in Utah. I have lurked on RL for while, finally feel worthy of a "hello" with the latest acquisition.
Some weeks ago, my wife (not wives), purchased a CPO GTS in Sand White which we are very happy with so far. This is primarily my wife's daily driver but of course getting behind every now and then myself is warranted.
I'm a clinically certified car nut. The current collection consists of two Land Cruisers, an E30 track car (Porsche orange mind you), a 63 Cadillac, and a Lexus IS-F.
I have read a lot of your input on snow tires here. Instead of opting for the expensive 21" snow tires alone, I went the route of a separate set of wheels, tires, and sensors in the 20" variety. I purchased some basic wheels from USA Rim and a set of new Michelin Alpin's for the season. Of course, since the install, it hasn't rained once.
Never the less, here are some photos of our GTS some weeks ago upon arrival. I have since tinted the front side doors (to Utah's mild legal limit) and added a few little Porsche trim pieces (Hitch plug, plate frame). She puts a smile on our face.
The later pics show how it sits with the 20" Winter set-up.
Take care,
John

That's a great looking Cayenne, love the interior shot !! Now you need some Porsche Tire Bags to put your summer tires in. Enjoy

I too have an E30 problem. I seem to only find rusted out ones though since I live on the east coast and the iX is my particular addiction
It was my wife that got me into cars by getting me to buy the 996 for her. She still has the fastest car in the family...
