Hi all

What are the load rating requirements if buying none genuine wheels for a CTT please?

Would i be right in thinking 735kg per corner is not really enough?

Are they stamped on the back side? I have two sets of OEM wheels and a set of BBS so I can take a look at them to see what they say.

The ones i saw were 20" and rated at 735kg for each wheel which isnt as high as others i have seen at 900kg. The axle weight on the CTT would put the 735kg rims at their max wouldn't it?

I have a set of the "Design" wheels (9x19"), a set of "Sport Techno" (9x20"Fr & 10x20"Rr), and set of BBS RXII (10.5x21") and I just inspected all of them and couldn't find a weight limit stamped unless it is in some kind of code. For the tires for example, the 19" are Continental 4x4 Sport Contacts (275/45-19) and list a 1000KG rating, the 20" are Hankook Ventus RH07 (275/40-20) and list 950KG, the 21" are Michelin Latitude Sport (295/35-21) and list 975Kg. All are XL weight rated tires, I would say that the wheels should exceed the tire specs in all cases. Where did you get the specs you found?

It may be that "proper" rims dont have it but lots of replica wheels have it stamped inside the rim like the below picture
