Default Entering Seventh Year.....

Yes. The Bartender has been on the wagon.... figuratively of course... and has posted "droppings" throughout the PigPen, here and there.. However I do have what could be an "entertaining" forum thread...

My '07 **** (but Porsche says it's an '06) is at 75,000 and enters the final year of its warranty... Thus the Forum Question...

Retain 'til wheels drop off?
Upgrade to another MY or buy new Pig Model?
Buy Pick-up Truck and go solo with 996 Targa (naked)?

We have considered the same questions...

My wife and I decided to keep the Cayenne as my winter beater/airport car. I'm at roughly 110K miles on the Cayenne now. Keeping it will allow me to let the 996 C4S stay in the garage during heavy snow, airport runs, etc.

My wife has been car shopping. We looked at a new 2013 Cayenne last week, and I think she's sold. We may be a multi-pig family in the very near future!

Almost into 10th year with 90,000 miles. Taking it in for 5th service next week. No cardan shaft problem, but had coils done and alum coolant pipes (before any problems). Didn't replace battery until this Summer. Otherwise, knock on wood. I was thinking of ditching my old pickup (airport, dump, etc) and CS and getting a new Cayenne for DD. Finally decided no reason to do so other than one less vehicle hanging around. I am curious as to how long it will do what it does - essentially whatever I want, including look good.

Great to hear longevity stories about Cayennes!
I'm only at 58,000 km, but hope to have ours for many years and kms!
