I had 996 diverter valves and fabspeed cat delete pipes installed, then drove 250 miles. There seems to be a boost leak, I think they screwed up. WOT it goes just beyond .6 bar on the guage and doesn't stay there, I think one valve is installed incorrectly or malfunctioning so not good.

On the bright side the pipes are great, no change in cabin noise with windows up unless you really get on it. Nice growl but not annoying at all, it sounds good. Interestingly I reset the trip computer on the highway and my average mpg was 19.4, and this included getting pulled over for speeding with a WOT to get back into traffic from the left pull off lane, I've never averaged even 18mpg on the highway.

- added 2 liters (±2 quarts) of motul, this thing has a growing apetite!!! had to do it just after 500km (±310mls) of freeway driving. okay, I was doing 125mph most of the time, only slowing down for speed traps, but still...
- my indy replaced the battery as I was getting random error messages
- topped off twice. God bless US gas prices.

Sorry to hear EW. How many tires have you gone through on that thing? Seem to remember you were stalking roofers for a while and picked up a few roofing nails not too long ago.

I just installed a set of Dennis' Conti DWS's on Thurs then proceeded to drive 1300 mi. to pick up a new motorcycle, tires rode great, no issues.

I feel fortunate. Our roads can be bad, but not that bad.

This is a second tire replacement (not counting changing all 4 due to wear). Other ~25000 were patchable

IIRC, Continental tires come with free roadside hazard damage protection and replacement.

Pops, BTW, you probably scratched the clearcoat signing "P!g" into the P!g ... thank you, Larry would have appreciated that.

Larry, Sunday afternoon after snowstorm, what roadside assistance, c'mon! AAA FTW!

I hoped you'd appreciate the etching, though in hindsight, I should have done it across the body, using a wider graver

Jim, they're 20".
