2013 CTT

Perhaps not a coincidence ... Just received a 2013 Cayenne V6, and analog clock stopped working a week later as well, red hands stopped where they were, seconds at 0. Dealer suggested I change the clock setting, and it may wake up. Tried, but no luck.
Guess I need to bring it in as well, unless somebody finds out some well hidden menu option that stops/starts the clock!

Don't tell me you guys were also fiddling with the TPMS sensor settings, after installing new wheels. Cause thats when I think mine stopped.
At least I went for the "N-rated tires", so should not have a warranty problem on the clock

I really thought that might be the problem because if I do that in my car, ie toggle that option, the clock appears dead as a doornail. Toggle it back and the clock comes alive again. I didn't "order" that option although it might have come with the turbo model.

On the Turbo there is no option for the Sport Chrono.
The toggle switch therefore has no setting for Chrono, but I find it interesting that the clock stops when you access that setting.

I was at my dealer this am for only 10 minutes
They have delivered 2 2013 and both clocks have stopped
Additionally the received a new one in yesterday with a note from the VPC "clock not operational"
Definitely a software issue that Porsche will have to deal with
Replacing the clock will not fix in my SA opinion
We will wait for a TSB

Hey Guys, clock update!
Brought it in to my wonderful dealer this morning, Summary: 1h later, after some nice coffee and breakfast pastries, and some contemplation sitting in a 911 Turbo S ... the clock is working!
Details: Spoke to the technician, it was indicating a gateway communication error (i.e. clock and car were not talking to each-other). He reset the system, and had to physically disconnect and reconnect the wiring harness, and the clock came back to life. I joked that I will probably be back, he did not disagree and said if that happens again the next step would be order a new clock ... baring a TSB. BTW, they seem to do good volume, and I am the first they have seen with the 2013 clock issue.

Well, let me add to the list. I picked up my 2013 last Monday and before I left the dealership I noticed the second hand stopping at the 13 second point. They took it into the shop, reset it using the date-time function and it reset. On the way home it stuck again at the same point but still kept the time. Dealer asked me to come in Friday to check it again and decided to order a new one. Went out to go for a drive yesterday morning and the clock totally stopped at 10:43. No illumination either, just dead...Is the second hand really supposed to stop at the 12:00 point when not in use and then catch up when the door opens?

Some engineer in Germany must be getting a good flogging! This is one of the only options they added for 2013, and couldn't get it right!
I got a good kick out of reading a 2013 GTS review on another forum, and somebody from this thread asked him if his clock was working by any chance ... answer: NO, DOA ... How did you know
BTW, mine still working after the "reset".
