PCM update procedure (closed topic)
Hi everyone,
a few days ago I got my 2003 Cayenne with PCM2 satnav system (CD version).
All three european map discs were 2003 versions so I bought a newer set from a local guy. 8 discs in total with one update disc.
The update CD says: "PCM2 UPDATE 2.0 AUF 3.0 911+BOXTER 000.043.205.46".
For what I understand is I must first update my firmware with the update CD but I'm not 100% sure if my update disc is the correct one.
I read articles from people bricking their unit because of update failure procedure/wrong discs....
Can somebody here confirm the above partno. is the right one for my 2003 Cayene? Also other tips are welcome!
