Recommend a Cayenne for me! ($25 - $30k, and I only drive 5k each year)

Yup, that's why I think the best value is a turbo for your budget. In my case I found a really highly optioned S with a super rare interior that spoke to me. Plus even though I could have spent 10k more money.. I thought for the money I paid it is a really nice vehicle and it is. But if I was budgeting in your price range I would be really tempted by turbos. Anyway just take your time and get all steeped in these cars.. You will be able to spot the good buys soon. I encourage doing autotrader searches even nationwide (distance all) just to get a reference on true nationwide prices even if you are buying closer.

Pretty similar. But I am also looking at the US. I have no problem making a fun little trip out of this. Fly down, pick up a car, and go on an EPIC road trip back home

Personally I bought a 06' CS, okay optioned, no air suspension, I bought it because my insurance was much cheaper, well a ticket fell off and I got a few months older (only 22 at the time) got a quote for insurance for an 04'-06' CTT to see if it was even worth the search. It was, almost the same to insure. My hunt was on, found a low mileage 04' CTT (42k when I bought it, 54k now 7 months later). Had my dealer buy the 04' since they sold me the 06' and then bought my 06'. Walked away with loss on the tax is all, after reading all this your probably thinking, okay what is the point.
My point is, after a week or two of the CS, albeit a very nice ride (aside from the terrible pano roof, STAY FAR AWAY in cold climates) the power was just too low for such a large truck. I was bored (came from two built 2.7 audi's and have a pretty modded 951, so 60 in over 6 seconds is very hard for me) I had to down shift to pass people, turn off psm for any fun and no air ride (my allroad had) I was a bit unhappy. The turbo has much nicer leather, nicer dash, alcantara headliner, air suspension, sports seats, etc and does everything so much better. There is a lot of value with the CTT's, since you don't drive a whole lot, your resale will probably be better as well, if the Cayenne's follow other p-cars after a decade or so the Turbos seem to appreciate (okay maybe I'm dreaming here about the P!G hehe).

there was an 06 turbo s in Tulsa, Oklahoma 2 weeks ago for $29k.
turbo S = giant brakes, way more power, you can tow a house, i get 17-18mpg on the highway, air suspension, amazing interior. almost every option is standard and they were $111k base in 2006. Panoramic roof and the advanced off-road suspension are options, i would have loved the suspension but as others will tell you, they are very uncommon and i have yet to see a cayenne equipped with one.
I have one (06 CTTS) and love it. Don't be the guy that says i could have had a v8 (with a turbo lol). Major issue that i found during my research prior to purchase was the cavle body in the 04-05 transmissions. Parts are like $1500. 04-06 all have the coolant pipe issue but diy is about $800.

I am getting or pretty sure I am going to get a pretty mint 2004 Cayenne Turbo with 90k miles all maintenance done summer 20" and winter 18" tires/wheels for $18,000 sound good or not.? Only problem I found is Tailgate does not lock is this a big deal ? Help me figure this out, oh one more thing there is an amber colored light next to the passenger seat heat switch , it appears pushed in I can see the light but there is a round hole is this an airbag indicator light and is it an easy fix? I am new to this sight so I hope this is appropriate

2004 cayenne turbo price?
What so all think of a 18k price for a minted turbo where all the work has been performed at dealer back gat won't seem to lock and new brakes on front and backs are at 7 mm otherwise if you were sitting in this you would swear it was new crazy I know but true
