Talking Guys tell me what to buy

Hey guys, it really appears you guys know your stuff here and are active on these boards. As i have been googling things these couple weeks it keeps leading me to posts here so i joined to be active.

I want a cayenne, but i'm not rich, but i'm not broke. i want to spend 30-35K on a used cayenne, i'm not really interested in a V6, maybe a S or gts. I do own a couple porsches, (just a boxster and 87 944 turbo) have had a few 911 nothing newer than 2004. i have been pretty much looking at 2009 cayenne S because of existing warranties and upgraded nav/radio, but then i see some great deals on 2006-08 gts's with 50kish miles around the same price, should i just go as new as possible or just wait a year to a year and a half and buy a 2009 gts. in this range. is the added upgraded mechanicals and radio/nav on 2009 the smart way to keep moving to? its kinda the way i'm leaning.l

I am in Lima Ohio (western ohio 45804 ) and the closest one for sale is 50 miles away and is a V6, but i am 70 to 90 miles from columbus, dayton, and toledo. but the best deals i would travel for the deals, i happen to own a rather nice size towing company to getting it wouldnt be a problem..

any hints or links of what you would buy if you where me let me know here
Thanks ahead of time
what im looking for
black interior, nav, sunroof, tip,

I'm a huge fan of the Turbos.
From what you listed, I would aim for the 2009 GTS. The GTS is a moderate step up from the S in power, but a large step up in looks and equipment. Also, you'll have the option of a 6-speed manual if that's something you'd be interested in (and if you can find one).

i really like the styling of the2009 gts too , turbo is over the top for me personally, i already have like 6 cars insured, my wife would flip! but a 2009 gts is a little more than i want to budget mid 40's right now, unless you can find me a 2009 gts mid 30's, that why i'm just thinking about waiting a year or so

I am just saying for your budget and considering the turbos are usually optioned higher... its a good spot for your price range... just stay off the gas.. haha.

There is a zero percent chance of that being real. The person also has zero feedback. I have a nice 05 Turbo if you're interested at the bottom of your price range.

PM me if you're interested.

Ironically your car is on the list of cayennes in my autotrader link above. I almost commented on your particular vehicle as a good specimen. Small world.

Really, a 2009 GTS for under $35k? I'd like to see a 2008 for under that.

Talking

Well originally i thought about getting an S, and yes i know 35k is a streetchh, but i have found a few mid 30kmile range in that area. but then someone posted a link here to an ebay add that was a gts and looked crazy low, i contacted him saw the add contacted him about buy it then the add dissapeared, then i get a long email from him this morning saying the last guy screwed him and it needs to go, has 51k and looks fine.
Also today i recieved an email from one i found only 150 miles from me thats a 2008 GTS, black ext, black wheels, 15K MILES, still under warranty, bluetooth, nav premium sound. The bluetooth confuses me i thought that wasnt available untile 2009 model, and he told me $35000 gets it. private seller that seem legit.
can someone tell me if 2008 GTS had the newer (3.0, is that what its called with the bluetooth, touchscreen etc) as an option or a half model year thing or something. if so i told the guy not to be scared about the guy in the flatbed in front of his house as i will be there waiting for him when he gets back to town with cash in hand. LOL pretty excited about this one, but dont really want to post the add as its kinda obscure and local where it was posted and dont want someone snatching it up before me, dude it got less than 15k miles, with 22 techart wheels, looks so sweet Let me know guys i'm counting on you for this one Thanks Brian

...and it has a clean carfax, and no accidents? Sounds like a steal. The GTS is a more expensive model than the 'S'.

'08 GTS has the 2.1, '09 has the 3.0. If it has bluetooth he might have a denison, or dice, etc.

The sweet spot IS a 05-06 turbo for your price and thats just it. AND I dont understand why a GTS is better. I think the facelift looks no better just different (thats just me).. I would WANT a older turbo than a GTS personally. Why would electronics even matter? None of them are that good. Its like one milquetoast offering over another. The turbo is going to be SUCH a nice car to DRIVE. haha, just saying... sorry about the rant.
