see adman's other thread. screeching sound is your starter that has been doused with coolant. It will keep working, just sounds horrible. I have no idea how long it will keep working, nobody seems to want to leave it in to find out. It will come out without removing any pipes. second bolt is at 7 o'clock or so. use socket extension to get it out from the front. Just need to do the whole first half of the coolant pipe job to get to it. That why its definitely an WYIT job.
