(said with a sense of humor)

Must be nice to have that much disposable income. Personally, the only way to remain rich is not to give it away!!!!

Thumbs up

That sounds great Kransky. I pretty much think the Cayenne will embarrass no one and those who can afford it will do so regardless of name or any other silliness.

Kransk:

I am neither rich nor famous, but I do enjoy life. God has been good to me in many ways, blessing me with 6 decades of health and family and adequate means to enjoy them all.

There is an old prayer: "Lord I asked You for all things so I could enjoy life. You gave me life so I could enjoy all things."

And, sadly, it is true that the truly rich are often much less generous with their worldly goods than are most folks with less than enough. Did you read about the small village in Africa who sold their cows to help the families of 9/11 victims? Kinda makes my point.

I am generous to my friends and to my family as well as others. Perhaps because of this I am not rich in terms of money. Know what? Makes little or no difference.

Yes, I enjoy life, but I do march to a slightly different drummer.

As they say, that's the way to live.

Kransky

How about posting a picture of that collection? I'd love to see a group shot.

Bob,

You seem like a wise (and happy) man, with his priorities in order.

Bob i like to qoute from your post above: Personally, the only way to remain rich is not to give it away!!!!

Make up your mind what you want, I think you might suffer from Alzheimers.

I stopped giving to charitys after I had seen what the catholic church did with my thousand of d-mark donations. I do give but only to people I personally know are in need and I can monitor the progress of my help.

Why dont you drive a Hyundai and give your Porsche away too?

Mike don't waste your time and logic on this one. He/she is a classic flame baiter - he/she is probably 12.

Nice win for those R8s, 'eh? Glad to see Porsche as a sponsor - surprised they didn't advertise the Pepper-fish (my version of flame bait )

Hi mpm

"Glad to see Porsche as a sponsor "

Really, P was a sponsor?

I haven't looked closely at any shots of the Joest cars, and we don't get Speedchannel.

As you know, my suspicion is that a lot of the development work was done in Weissach, so it's sort of fitting. Ferd's gone and I figure PAG will be back in LMP next year.

I was following the race on Totalmotorsport.com (great site by the way), and concentrating on GT. Glad to see the Racer's Group win what with the Rennlist and Adrian's daughter connection.

I'm with you on the 12 year old... just pointing out the pattern.

Biz picking up at all?

Mike in Chi going to find a shot of the Joest car.

mpm

just figured out that sponsor probably meant of the broadcast... <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />

ya see I grew up seeing cars in the winners circle that had "Porsche-Audi" on the side of the... oh nevermind.
