Everyone is out enjoying their Cayenne but me. I am still in port awaiting the EPA certification. My dealer is telling me 2 to 3 weeks. Various Boards are saying more like 1 to 2 months. The EPA is probably going to take 6 months. So my dealer has started looking around the nation to find the allusive Cayenne TT with similar options as my order minus the Parking heater.

I am almost at the point of having to start from scratch with a new order. What kind of discounts should be in order for this type of major inconvenience???

The race is on, which will I get first the Cayenne or the Cayenne silhouette baseball cap that is on backorder?!?!?!?

do yourself a favor and test drive a Cayenne for as long as you can to make sure you want it!

Maybe it is a blessing?

Ignore the skeptics, do what you can get your hands on your TT!

I picked mine up on Friday and it's definitely worth the wait...

Scott,

Same car but with black interior. The exterior doesn't have your shine... I've been inundated with various opinions for waxes/protective coatings! Are you still happy with Crystal Guard?

Your pictures look fantastic! But if you think it looks great in the wilderness, you should see how sweet it looks at the beach… (And would if I could figure out how to post my dig pics!)

I have test driven both. However since it belonged to someone, I was unable to take the TT for an extended drive. There is not much that will make me consider something else at this point.

This will most likely will end in placing another order and seeing which one shows up first. I need to work out what I will the have dealer do to make up for this major problem. How can they offer an option that you can get on the vehicle but cannot get from the port.

They offered an enterprise rent a car until the TT shows up. This dealer does not even have a Porsche service loaner. I would like either an S or another Porsche off their lot and trade only keys when my ordered vehicle comes in.

Surf,

In order to insert your pics, you have to upload them first and insert the URL to them in the post.

If that doesn't work, you can mail them to me if you like. I will upload them to my webspace and send you back the links that you have to insert.

I will send you a mail with my e-mail address.

Surf please post pics of your black/black TT when you get a chance. Hopefully I wont be sorry I got the beige interior! (I did get mine off the lot...).

Yea I'm very happy with Crystal Guard and VERY happy I did it right when I got the car while the paint was perfect. It's still perfect and really shows a nice shine as you can see from the photos. Almost like brochure shots sometimes!

If you weren't 3000 miles away I'd say come check it out!

Hi Scott...

TERRIFIC Pictures.!!!

Can you do me a favor? If you have a moment, can you "take the new Cayenne Owners Gallery out for a "test drive" ", and try to create the first Cayenne Owners Photo Gallery on the new Portal Site? I just finished programming that feature, and need to know if it works "outside" of my internal network...

To get to it - pop over here:

Rennlist Cayenne Portal...

And select the link "Owner Photo Galleries". then "register" a username and password, and try to create your album...

Thanks!!!!

Ummm - also, OUTSTANDING PHOTOS!!! - Thanks for posting them..!!!!

Hi,

I tried and registered with same userid/pw as rennlist, then tried to login and it said it was invalid.

I tried!

Matt,

Thank you for the offer. I’ll try to get some time this weekend to work on the pics.

After finally taking delivery on my TT, I’ve spent all my free time lately reading the manuals! It’s rather embarrassing when someone asks about something on the car and I haven’t figured it out yet! In fact, I also have the “Entry & Drive” option and spent most of the weekend trying to keep my car locked! Turns out, I had left the second key in a bag in the vehicle and as you know, ANYONE could just walk up and open the doors. Duh…

Anyway, thanks for all the great pictures and positive posts!

John D,

I tried it too and had the same problem as Scott.
It would not let me log in after creating the account.

Hi Scott and Matt..!!!

I am so sorry!!! I think I just fixed it (it was a PHP file call..?)? Anyway - if you don't mind - can you try to "register" - and then see if it lets you create your albums???

Again - my fault..!!!

Thanks
