Exclamation Beware: tow package issue

I'm currently experiencing some difficulties with PCNA and my dealer. When I bought my Cayenne S about a month ago, I was told I would get a tow package "in the next few days / 2 weeks top".

Today, 1 month later, some guy at PCNA told me that I should get the tow package mid June! <img border="0" alt="[soapbox]" title="" src="graemlins/soapbox.gif" />

If you are buying a Cayenne to tow be careful and only buy a car which already has a tow package.

Because of this I'm now stuck with a Lotus Elise race car garage queen!

There's a "slight" issue with supply when it comes to Caynne Tequipment stuff. Half the "available" options are on backorder, and have arrival times ranging from the end of April to September.

Trailer hitch, fender flares, skid plates, nav systems, all on backorder.

Thanks for the U-Haul suggestion. I did that. The trailer wasn't great but did the job. However, the bill was ugly: $700!! .73c / mile after 50 miles...
