Perhaps this information has already been out there, but, why has there been such a mystery when it comes to finding Cayenne interior dimensions (i.e. front/rear legroom, shoulder room, hip room, head room, etc.)?

I have been trying to find this information and it does not seem to be available either on the Porsche web site, vehicle brochure, or for that matter any of the auto info sites (i.e. Edmunds, Consumer Guide, KBB, etc.).

I currently have a Cayenne on order (scheduled to be delivered in a couple of weeks). I am trying to get some dimensions for such things as infant/child seats to determine which ones will fit best and this information would be tremendously helpful.

Any thoughts/insights?

Let's see what appears on the Cayenne website in the near future, OK??? No promises, of course - but let's see what I can find to help you out..!!!

Dear Lee,
Have there not been any road tests in the USA yet in the major magazines. They normally cover these things. They certainly are here in Europe. There are a whole bunch of them using comparisons. May I also suggest that you check with VW. The Cayenne is the same as the Toureg so they might have more data.

UK road test has the following measurements

Min/Max front leg room 830/1100mm
Min/Max rear leg room 720/860mm
Min/Max front head room 900/990mm
Rear head room 940mm
Interior width front/rear 1650/1650mm
VDA boot volume 540 litres/dm3
Boot width 1150mm
Boot height 480mm

Vehicle tested was a Turbo. Hope that helps
