Removed 2" lag screw from rear passenger-side tire
I noticed a slow leak from our rear passenger side tire. We have the 275/45-19 Pirelli P-Zero reds. On closer inspection, I noticed what looked like a nail head in the tread, so I took it to Sears (of all places) for repair - not much else was open on Saturday. For $15 they removed the tire from the wheel, applied a patch, then remounted and re-balanced the wheel/tire. All in about 40 minutes.
It's pretty amazing how well the tire maintained pressure despite this fairly serious puncture. I'll post a photo of the screw later.

Jim,
While expensive, I would suggest you replace the tire. Porsche does not allow their dealers to repair tires....I believe due to high speed reliability, performance, legal liability issues.

Three Wheelin'
I believe that once a speed-rated tire is punctured, it is not speed-rated any longer. Once the belts have been compromised, there is no guarantee that they'll stay intact at high speeds.
