Default Seatbelt Swap

Hello All!

Has anyone had to change a seatbelt on their 957? I'd doubt it, but if anyone has done it, it's probably a rennlister. I'm looking to swap out the factory black ones for red ones. Purely aesthetic. I've been told by the dealer that even though the red seatbelts were designed for the 958, they are the correct fit for a 957. Any technical insight would be greatly appreciated.

958 Seat belts have a different part number than 957 seat belts.
Guards Red seat belts were offered for the 957 however. Here are the correct part numbers:
955.803.001.20.YKQ - Front left
955.803.002.21.YKQ - Front right
955.803.051.11.YKQ - Rear left
955.803.050.11.YKQ - Rear right
955.803.053.11.YKQ - Rear center (without GTS sport seats)
955.803.053.13.YKQ - Rear center (with GTS sport seats)

you can buy red non-oem seatbelts that will fit. find some guy that does custom interiors, he's going to know how to do it.

Thank you everyone. All of your responses were really helpful! I found the parts for about $600, now I need to find someone to install. Called my dealer today and they want almost $1500 just in labor for the install! Is anyone from the Northern New Jersey area that has a suggestion for a custom interior shop nearby? Google shows many, especially in NYC, but I'd rather work off of a word of mouth recommendation.

i think my dealor charged about $600 plus to install my silver belts - total cost was about 3 times the original tick the box cost but way cheaper than going for a new Cayenne!

Have you or anyone found an install pdf or similar for new seat belts?

although it looks like a great solution, i'm kind of unsure about max speed. My p!g is still under an extended factory warranty and i'm afraid if something should happen (god forbid) they would use that against me to somehow void other parts of the warranty (can never be too careful with protecting yourself from things like this). I'd be willing to give it a try if someone has a pdf or any tech specs on the removal and re-install process, but no one seems to want to create such a thing because of the safety issue.

Cpa4S, did they do all 5 seatbelts for ~$600?
