Hello,

Just to let you all know some of our Touareg parts are compatible with the Porsche Cayenne, the others need minor cosmetic tweaks. Our roof rack is fully compatible with both vehicles.

We will look into getting a vendor license so we can post links etc.

Regards,

While I wouldn't do this to my Cayenne, I prefer the road/track look, I would LOVE to see someone do this to their Cayenne, the full kit. This goes well beyond the transsiberia.

I would LOVE to see someone do this to their Cayenne
I remember reading about the cross-functionality off the ProSpeed products for a Cayenne on a "real off-roader board". Laughed my head off reading what them expedition guys think of us Cayenne owners - when somebody dared ask the question

http://www.expeditionportal.com/foru...ne-expo-builds

For God sakes man this what rich folks buy in case it snows and the butler can't make it in to the grocery store for breakfast pastry.

But man will you look cool when its time to go p/u the croissants w/ chocolate. And don't forget to throw the guy w/ the cardboard sign a buck at the stop sign.

I can only assume that the Porsche 'overlanding' crowd (if such a thing exists) is, well, a bunch of pompous guys who sip expensive booze, wear sweaters over their shoulders, and pick up pastries while talking on their bluetooth headsets.

But I guarantee, people will still crack jokes about the high faulting life style you must lead to afford such a fine piece of engineering. Why? Because its a Porsche Cayenne, thats why.

I understand that until 2006 there was a pastry warmer in the glovebox but it was deleted so you could put gloves in there...

not sure about the pastry warmer, but you can divert cool air to said glove box to keep your drink cool..

Good humour aside, there is some interesting info in there as well ...
