Looks like a better kit (cheaper, and it includes the intake gaskets, which on a truck this age really should be replaced..)Originally Posted by XR4Tim

Dennis, yes I understand a lot of dealerships have what they call a "kit" but these are the parts they have put together as what they believe is needed. There is no "kit" assembled by Porsche or they would have a set part number for the kit.
I am very glad to see Suncoast includes the T-stat Housing Gasket in their kit, Hennessey's "kit" that I got did not include that part. I can only assume Hennessey's tech's don't take the t-stat housing off when they do the repair. Personally I wouldn't want to do the job leaving the housing on (too hard to clean the lower hose/pipe fitting with the housing still on).

FYI, According to the Porsche Service instructions those gaskets need to be replaced each time the intake is removed.Originally Posted by deilenberger

Former Vendor
We did not take our thermostat gasket off when we replaced ours, but I can see how some may want to do so. Our kit has now been updated to include both the thermostat gasket and thermostat housing rubber seal.
