Default GOING Crazy XXXXXXXXXXXXXX Alarm Siren Module

I purchased three used ones and tried them all - even cut one open to see if it had the bad battery issue. All of them did not fix the problem Flashers blink when you lock and walk away
Is there a different Alarm module that needs replacing ?
Do these modules need to be coded?
Can you take one from an audi or VW - same part numbers and try those as well without any coding required ?

My 09 GTS is doing the same thing. Have a replacement Alarm module ready to go in next week. Interested in your resolution.

What were the part numbers for the modules you tried? There have been several updates since the original 957 unit, and my research indicates all should still work.

Mine gives the two chirps, then flashes the hazards for about 15-20 seconds after locking, then goes off.

What all have you tried to address it? Any codes?
