Hello all, name is Ryan and my wife and I have just purchased our first Porsche. She has 67k miles and change on her and looks almost as good as new. I traded in my 08 Infiniti G37 coupe as we are expecting our first child soon and I needed something with more room. Obviously I decided to upgrade performance wise while I was at it
I already ordered my first part. A gas cap. The existing cap is loose every time I check it after driving, despite tightening it each time at the pump.
I also ordered an OBD-II scanner...I hope I won't need it too much..
The truck has a warranty from the dealer, but it is quite a hassle to take off work and go there. I figured I would try this first and if it doesn't work out take it in.
Other than that light it runs flawlessly. It is amazing to be in an SUV that has more power than my old G37, and also handles equally if not better...and is older to boot.
I look forward to learning more about this vehicle, and modifying it if my wife lets me!

If you really want to read the codes and do some decent diagnostics, you may want to look at the Durametric tool. I have it for my '05 and it does a great job short of the dealer's PIWIS system.
