the difference is really NOTHING, i would not recommend "upgrading" the brakes on a 2011.... even under severe braking I have not noticed any difference whatsoever... noise or otherwise (as far as braking I would say the tires are the weak point, the 255's M+S on my base models have always been short on traction) then again they are M+S and on an SUV...

I am relieved that Porsche finally upgraded the brakes on the V6.

Given the well established fact that a V6 Cayenne is faster than a Cayenne Turbo, something HAD to be done about the stopping capability. V6 owners have been at risk for far too long.
Personally, they should have fitted the E51 Powerkit brakes onto the V6, but I can see where the dash clock option was more important.

Also, this change will make the current "smaller brake" V6 models even more desireable...there have been threads in the Carrera GT forum with folks willing to trade their Carrera GT for a V6 Cayenne, with the smaller brakes and NO dash clock.

I've never seen a Porsche appreciate in value as quickly as the Cayenne V6 ... clearly Porsche Marketing's greatest success to date.

I fell in love with the ventilated seats in my 911, and I would not order another vehicle without them. I prefer the Porsche version over the ones I had in the Benz.

Default Pictures of My New Cayenne

Here are more pictures of my new Cayenne, highlighting the dash clock and the door locks on the door. I just love the Meteor Grey with the black interior.
