Brought the P!G in for a few items that needed attention (God bless German cars...).

Got a '10 Cayenne S with pleather seating as a courtesy car and noticed that the seat heater setting, that was needed to warm my backside, was much higher than with the GTS.

After much consideration and thought, my educated and highly-assumed guess is that the Alcantara seating surfaces in the GTS act as an insulator which makes the warmth sensation a much more comfortable experience. Any comments?

Are there heating elements in the backside or are they only in the bottomside??
With the warm winter we've had so far I don't think I've even used mine this year.
