If you are custom ordering and can find a dealer with an open slot, as short as 3-4 months from order to pick up. It can be longer if the dealer has handed out his allocations already or if you have some special components. Having just gone through the process, the wait is hard but the results are definitely worth it.

I thought I read somewhere custom orders do not cut into dealer's allocation?
A related question: Is it normal for dealer to require a deposit for custom order? Do they need any financial info for the order?
