Even with its lace panties and whatnot. The handling seemed to defy logic.

My old neighbor used to have one of these beasts - had to take the exterior trim off his garage to get the thing in and out. But if that's your dog hauler, then you could probably put saddles on your dogs...

Totally laughed out loud! Shouldn't I make her buy me a '12 CTT as a dowry...!! What do you think POPS??

The first two are def. a must... the last three are... hmm if you have to.
Hey, I resemble that remark! My 07 XC90 has been absolutely trouble free since buying it 1.5 years ago and gets 24-25 mpg freeway. While not a Cayenne I think it is very handsome and I like driving it. Mine is the 3.2 six and no rocket but I would have no qualms recommending an R version with the V8 and seven passenger seating.

Anyhoo, congrats on the newest family member!

I hear enterprise has a good deal on the used four row boxy white gmc vans. I think that would suffice. Go to bumperplugs and put a turbo badge on the back too

She raises Saint Bernards, so saddles are not out of the question.

In all honesty, I don't know what could possibly replace the Excursion ... there is nothing else available today, not with a 44 gallon tank, diesel, towing, capacity ...

I'm pretty sold on the Land Rover LR3/LR4 models these days. It's boxy enough to have a huge amount of interior room considering the exterior size, and the rear seating set-up works pretty slick--all seven seats individually fold flat into the floor, and the third row is easily adult-sized.

If you need a full time third row, the XC90 is out. We love it - have had it for years. Compared to the Cayenne (which I got last week to replace my 996) it is as comfortable, looks decent, and has good storage but is limited when the 3rd row is up. Not a powerhouse but a decent worker.

My neighbor just got an XC90. It seems narrower than the Cayenne.

I actually posted a rant on FaceBook out of the blue when I saw an Aztek on the road once. I think I threw up a little in my mouth even when I saw it. Seriously someone's design budget got axed a year early on that one, but they still decided to build it.

Almost bought an Escalade a weekend ago. Who wants to trade a big American triple-row SUV/boxster combo for an '04 CTT?
