2005 Ford Excursion 4x4 PowerStroke Diesel .
12000lb towing capacity, 44 gallon tank, seats 8 while still having a full size tailgate.
There is nothing like protecting the family in 7800 lbs of full frame rail, cold rolled American steel.
My bride's daily driver and dog hauler.

We got a GL450 after our third kid was born, and a cayman! GL450 was nice but access to third row was tough. The GM suv's have captains chairs which is nice for 3rd row access. I just don't like the cheap GM interiors, even the on the Escalade. The GL450 just got old to us. Whole family loves the minivan. It just made it easier especially with the cayman to have for quick errands with one kid.

I'm with TE on this one - shouldn't it be a plus or something not as confusing as two identical indicators? Not like I ever use those things. Papa is a rolling stone

I like the LR4's third row, which even a six footer can fit in. The big issue for me with the Suburban\Tahoe\Denali is the lack of headroom, especially in the rear.
I would configure every which way and drive all third row SUV's before buying. I have made the mistake of not folding down the second row of seats or sitting in the second or third tow before buying a truck, and regretted my decision afterwards.

Now.. get a mum's car and you follow with your new 911. A 2nd back up car is imperative for safety reasons.
