Can't say, you know the score

I think it will be the equivalent if that ever gets going, but Pops got more than me so the Swarfega costs may be covered

An update:

After months of weird behavior from the PCM, mainly related to the iPod and one incident few days ago when the P!G switched to AM radio by itself and then refused to recognize SAT, CD & iPod, my wonderful dealer (I'm becoming very fond of them, actually and all of a sudden ) will be ordering a new PCM unit after I managed to capture the weirdness on video earlier today.

Clearly the vibration from the soon to be falling out of the P!g headlight assembly led to excessive oil consumption and the smoke from the burning oil contaminated the PCM unit.

You intentionally violated the terms of your warranty by videotaping said P!g abuse and your claim for a new PCM has been declined.

Furthermore, PCNA Legal will be pursuing legal action against yourself for libel and slander.

Apparently you did not know (or blatantly disregarded) PCNA's directive that no operation of the P!g can be video-taped or otherwise recorded without express (prior) written consent from PCNA. Any claims you may try to justify using said video recording will be disallowed. Nice try though.

Seriously, what's with all the PCM weirdness going on lately? Mine went flaky last week, I've done the Windoz Master Reset on it but haven't driven it to check it out yet. Are Porsche PCM units hyper sensitive to solar flares???

Please forward all complaints regarding CDR and PCM to Becker...it's their design now.

Entirely possible (although not probable ). All software inherently has bugs, and over time they eventually show up. Maybe we just need to add the occasional reset to our preventive maintenance procedures ...

It's more probable that a cosmic particle corrupted a single bit in memory ... or Larry was really an evil genius.

Give me a minute....

Seriously, and in all seriousness, to be totally serious, PCM weirdness is nowhere near the weirdness that went on with PCM on previous P!G. This one is more of a delayed response in navigating the menu while listening to the iPod (and the loaner P!G did not have that problem).

No weirdness on either yet apart from the fact that Porsche Nav is weird!

I think you mean a cosmetic particle. I bet Pops snapped a nail off in some PCM Orifice and the color clashes with the German aesthetic ...

Your Emineminess,

1. It's vey nice to see you
B. A snapped off nail implies a fake nail. Pops is au naturel. All around.
Thirdly. Just got an email that new PCM is already in
